Chandigarh: Punjab's new Chief Minister Charanjeet Singh Channi has been elected. Today, he has taken over the command of Punjab by taking oath. The report said, "Outgoing Chief Minister Amarinder Singh was accused of harassing him by his opponents within the party over old cases. Following the allegations of 2018, the Punjab Commission for Women had taken suo motu cognizance and asked the government its stand on the matter. Let me tell all of you that at that time Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh had asked Channi to apologise to the woman officer. In fact, he said, "He believes that the matter has been resolved with an agreement of the woman officer.''
