New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is preparing to start the biggest public awareness campaign on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) from January 5. In a single day, 42 top party leaders will start a door-to-door contact campaign at 42 places. The National General Secretary of the party, Dr. Anil Jain, has informed the media in this regard on Friday. BJP National President and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will start the campaign in Delhi on January 5.

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar will also be present in Delhi. On the other hand, Executive Chairman JP Nadda Ghaziabad, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh Lucknow, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Nagpur, Union Minister V Sadanand Gowda Bangalore, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will take charge in Jaipur, Rajasthan. At the same time, unlike the campaign being run by the Congress and other parties against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) passed in Parliament, the BJP has taken a front to create an atmosphere in support of this law in Madhya Pradesh.

BJP leaders have started seminars to show the benefits of this law and garner support. They are also going to the media to say their point. The seminar started in the state by Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, in-charge of the state and BJP's national vice-president from Ujjain. He said that all those elements who are deviating from the politics of vote bank by creating discrimination in society on the basis of infiltration, are provoking people by going from place to place.
