Kolkata: A meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi on Thursday over its strategy in West Bengal. The West Bengal BJP Core Group met with BJP national president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This is the first time the West Bengal Core Group meeting was held in Delhi since Nadda's team was announced. The preparations for the West Bengal assembly elections and the strategy ahead were discussed in the meeting.

After the Durga Pooja, BJP will start preparing for next year's assembly elections. Amit Shah, like last year, will join several Durga Pooja programs in Bengal this year to chalk out the campaign for next year's assembly elections. The party believes that if Amit Shah attends Durga Pooja programs in Bengal, there will be enthusiasm among the workers. 

The meeting also discussed the strategy of how to work in the forthcoming assembly elections. The strategy was discussed. From November, the BJP will be campaigning all over Bengal and will reveal the arbitrariness of the Mamata government in West Bengal. Not only be the leaders of the state but also the Union ministers and national functionaries will campaign from time to time in various districts.
