Known for playing clever politics by uniting people of same castes and bringing political disturbances, Bharatiya Janata Party has once again started its game in Andhra Pradesh. While the party has no stand in the Telugu state, they are hoping that the recent ‘bhumi pooja’ of Ayodhya has impressed Telugu voters too. And here’s another action plan ready. Unlike any other political party, BJP has now made Somu Veerraju, a prominent politician from Kapu caste as the President of AP BJP.

Rajasthan Union Minister Kailash Chaudhary tested corona virus positive

And then, Somu immediately rushed to meet Megastar Chiranjeevi in Jubilee Hills and Pawan Kalyan at MLA Colony. All those pictures are released and well-publicized as well, with every news channel giving coverage of it. If one is still wondering what is the need for AP BJP President to meet a non-politician like Chiru, and not-even-opposition kind Pawan Kalyan, then you still didn’t get it. BJP is now looking forward to impressing Kapu Community voters and hence all these moves, say political observers.

Agra: Corona cases doubled in a few days, the situation is frightening

The state president’s back to back meeting with Chiru, Pawan and other Kapu Community leaders are giving a color that BJP is for the Kapus, while YSRC is for Reddys and TDP is for Kammas. But then, Kapu Community didn’t vote Pawan to power in 2019 and that is clear that they are not going to believe political gimmicks. We have to see how far will BJP succeed with this Kapu gamble. Traditionally, BJP is known as a Pro-Brahmin party in the south, which is another story altogether.
