Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has said that BJP workers will go among the public to clear up the misconceptions being spread by opposition parties regarding the Citizenship Amendment Bill. Wherever giving the actual information of the bill to the people, they will solve the doubts arising in their mind by telling its benefits. At the same time, a workshop was held in the BJP's state office on Saturday to give the BJP workers of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar closely information about the Citizenship Amendment Bill.

After the workshop, BJP's National General Secretary of BJP Dr. Anil Jain said that this bill will be helpful for those who are forced to lead a hellish life with the victims of communal discrimination due to the ravages of partition. The Modi government held talks with more than 250 delegations to draft the bill. This bill is neither against the spirit of Article 14 of the Constitution, nor is it against the social fabric nor against Muslims. Some people are spreading confusion about the bill for political reasons. To resolve these misconceptions among the people, BJP will organize six workshops in the country, the first of which has been held in Lucknow. To remove the confusion being spread about the bill, the BJP will go to the people through its workers. Will also hold a hall meeting with intellectuals.

Let us tell you that Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi, the national spokesperson of the BJP who came to attend the workshop, said that India has made amendments in the Citizenship Act 1955 as per the requirement from time to time. Where the opposition's propaganda about the bill is misleading. Opposition parties are fueling the agitation in Assam, while Union Home Minister Amit Shah has already said that the autonomy and privileges of the northeastern states will remain unchanged. Attacking the Congress, he said that the committee which should have been formed to preserve the cultural heritage of Assam under Article 6 of the Assam Accord reached during Rajiv Gandhi's prime ministership, should be formed during the tenure of the Modi government Pie BJP State President Swatantra Dev Singh and State General Secretary (Organization) Sunil Bansal also addressed the workshop.
