Shimla: Elections are due in Himachal Pradesh this year. So far, there was doubt on whose face the party would contest the election. But now BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda has made it clear who will be the chief ministerial face of the party in the state. On Sunday, JP Nadda ended the doubts and said that the party will contest the assembly elections only on the face of Jairam Thakur. Not only this, but he also said that special care will be taken in the ticket distribution as to which candidates can win the seat.

At the same time, JP Nadda said that the double engine government in Himachal has done many development works. He said that earlier the jam in Shimla was a big problem. But now, addressing this problem, the roads of Shimla are being widened. Nadda said the BJP launched the Mahasampark Abhiyan on April 6. This will be discussed with party workers. 

Nadda said PM Narendra Modi will address a rally in Himachal between June 25 and 30. He also said that more than one lakh young workers will participate in this rally. Let us know that JP Nadda is in Shimla on Sunday. On the occasion of Ram Navami, he also offered prayers at the Jakhu temple in Shimla, where assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh are due in December this year. There are 68 assembly seats in the state. Of these, 48 are general seats. While 17 are reserved for Scheduled Castes and 3 for Scheduled Castes. Earlier on April 9, AAP's Himachal Pradesh president Anup Kesari, organisation general secretary Satish Thakur and Una president Iqbal Singh joined the BJP. Anup Kesari, Satish Thakur and Iqbal Singh had joined the BJP in the presence of Anurag Thakur at JP Nadda's residence.
