Panaji: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken the lead in the vote counting of the 2022 Goa Assembly elections. Congress is in second place. In such a situation, Goa CM and BJP leader Pramod Sawant has claimed that he is going to form his own government and he will be accompanied by MGP and independent candidates. Initially, trends were witnessing a tough fight between Congress and the BJP. But in the second hour, the picture changed.

In the trends so far, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in 19 seats in a row while winning 3 seats. Congress is in second place. Who is leading in 12 seats and has also won in 3 seats. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has got a lead in 2 seats in this race, while MAG has a lead in 2 seats. While the Goa BJP's lead surprised everyone, the party also seemed to be winning over Panaji, which is considered to be a BJP stronghold.  

Everyone is in awe of the defeat of Utpal Parrikar, who is an independent contestant this time on this seat. Utpal is the son of BJP leader Manohar Parrikar. In the initial trends, he had beaten the BJP's Atanasi Monserrate, but in the end, the BJP won. Utpal is at number two here. This win-win has happened on very small margins.
