Dehradun: BJP is preparing to hold a state working committee meeting and a public meeting to bring to the ground its roadmap for assembly elections in Uttarakhand in the last week of this month. The State Working Committee is likely to be held on 24th and 25th November. Thereafter, there will be a public meeting on 26th November. It will be addressed by the central and provincial stalwarts of the party. A Union Minister is also being invited to the State Working Committee.
According to BJP state general secretary Kuldeep Kumar, party functionaries and workers are very excited about the visit of national president JP Nadda. The National President has appealed to the people to gear up for the assembly elections with full force. The party has prepared its own election roadmap. The roadmap will be planned in the State Working Committee to land 100 per cent. More than 500 party functionaries and leaders will participate in the pre-election working committee.
According to sources, election in-charge, expansionists and convenors posted in 70 assemblies have also been called in the meeting which is focused entirely on the election plan. Apart from him, leaders who have the status as per the party's electoral strategy are also likely to be invited to the meeting. Apart from the Central leaders, all the prominent party stalwarts will attend the state working committee meeting. In addition to National General Secretary Organisation BL Santosh, state in-charge Dushyant Gautam, state election in-charge Prahlad Joshi and all co-in-charge, co-election in-charge will also reach Doon from the Centre.
