Dehradun: As preparations are in full swing in the states for the assembly elections, the BJP, Congress and AAP have fielded candidates in all the 70 assembly seats for the 2022 assembly elections in Uttarakhand. After fielding candidates in the fray, there will now be a flurry of election promises from the political parties. The BJP has announced to release its election vision document on February 2. The Congress and AAP will also release their election manifestos next week.  

The BJP has prepared its manifesto for the Uttarakhand assembly elections. On February 2, the party will release its election vision. The central leaders of the party will also be present on the occasion. The party will schedule the release of election vision papers in all 13 cities. The party has finalised the manifesto after receiving suggestions from the people in all the 70 assembly constituencies. The Manifesto Committee, formed in association with former Union Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, received 51279 suggestions from assembly constituencies, while it received 27331 suggestions online. The party received 78,610 suggestions for the manifesto.  

According to Madan Kaushik, the state president of the same party, the public suggestion received by the committee was taken into account while preparing the manifesto. The suggestions which were important in the interest of the state and the society were given a place in the manifesto. According to Kaushik, due to a programme on February 2, the party will dedicate its manifesto to the people of the state. There will also be programmes in all the 13 cities in which people will dedicate the party leaders' vision paper.
