Indore: In West Bengal, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya was attacked by activists belonging to the Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Thursday. In the afternoon, Vijayvargiya tweeted a video and informed about the incident. As soon as he informed about the attack, his supporters in Indore took to the streets. There was a lot of anger among the BJP workers about the attack on Vijayvargiya.

Proponents of Kailash Vijayvargiya shouted slogans, calling the attack on him a disrespect to the BJP. In protest of this incident, BJP workers took to the streets in various areas of Indore and shouted slogans against West Bengal government and Mamata Banerjee. BJP workers also burnt the effigy of Mamata Banerjee. During this time, a large number of BJP workers were present to burn the effigy of Mamata and shouted slogans against her. Some activists put pictures of Mamata Banerjee on the road and drove on it.

In this sequence, at the Banganga intersection of Indore, MLA Ramesh Mendola, one of the staunch supporters of Kailash Vijayvargiya, took the front and set fire to the effigy of Mamata Banerjee. When the effigy was burnt, a large number of BJP workers were present there, which is also an open joke of Section 144 imposed by the Collector under Corona.
