Bhopal: Political activity has increased in Madhya Pradesh over By-elections. BJP workers show black flags at Congress leader and former CM Kamal Nath's roadshow during his two-day visit to Gwalior. BJP workers raised slogans of 'Go back Kamal Nath'. The police had to resort to lathi-charge to disperse the mob of BJP workers at the city's Padha intersection.
A large number of people gathered at former CM Kamal Nath's seven-kilometre long roadshow. In the meantime, all the rules of the corona guideline were broken. Thousands of crowds were seen on the streets at the roadshow of Kamal Nath without masks and social distancing. It is being seen as a powerful demonstration in Gwalior. After the roadshow, Kamal Nath went to the mausoleum of Maharani Lakshmi Bai in Gwalior and paid homage. Thereafter, the party discussed with the leaders.
The party is engaged in formulating its strategy for the bye-election to 16 seats in Gwalior-Chambal. Former CM Kamal Nath said on the BJP's protest that the entire BJP is trying to stop them. Everybody put full strength that he could not come to Gwalior, but nobody could stop them.
