On the selection of Kavita Patidar and Sumitra Valmik for the same Rajya Sabha, Chief Minister Shivraj said that "Both the seats of both were given to women, thus 100 percent tickets were for women." The party gave opportunities to those who worked on the ground, Kavita continued to work for the organization. Sumitra Valmik is a three-time councilor. BJP state president VD Sharma said that "Both are the party's grassroot workers, they work for the party 365 days, if such decisions are taken, they are made in the BJP.
