Lucknow: The increasing incidence of mukermicosis, the black fungus, is shocking everyone amid the devastation of the corona. The latest recent case is of King George Medical Hospital in Lucknow. There have been cases of mukermicosis, the black fungus, in patients suffering from corona virus. According to the information received, kgmu spokesperson and dr sudhir himself has said in the case. "The King George Hospital has so far suffered from mucomycosis, that is, black fungus," he said.

Their number has reached 13. Out of these patients, seven people are still suffering from covid and while 5 people who were suffering from covid have recovered and become post covid. He is being given treatment and is under the supervision of doctors. At the same time, KGMU spokesperson Dr. Sudhir has also informed that 'a patient is admitted in medicine ICU and this patient is also post covid. However, he has also undergone surgery. Dr Sudhir says none of the 13 patients found in KGMU hospital and infected with black fungus have died.

However, there are cases of black fungus coming up from all over the country except Lucknow. The outbreak has also been observed in Meerut. Two patients have died here and there are ten more patients who are admitted in different hospitals. Meerut CMO Dr Akhilesh Mohan has informed about this. He says that the covid patients who are being given steroids are affecting their immunity.
