New Delhi: The Black Fungal has emerged as a new problem amid the crisis period of the corona epidemic. On this the Health Ministry says that black fungus is not an infectious disease. Lack of immunity is the only cause of black fungus. It affects sinus, rhino orbital and brain. It has also been seen in the small intestine. The Health Ministry has said that it is wrong to identify it in different colours.

On the other hand, the Health Ministry said in a statement on the corona epidemic that the infection rate in the country is steadily declining. In the last 24 hours, 2,22,000 cases of corona virus infection have been registered in the country. These are the lowest ever cases registered after 40 days. At the district level also cases of corona infection are declining. The recovery rate as of May 3 was 81.7 per cent, which has now increased to 88.7 per cent.

According to information provided by the Health Ministry, the number of active cases in the country has been declining for the last 22 days. On May 3, there were 17.13 per cent active cases in the country, now it has come down to 10.17 per cent. The last 2 weeks have seen a decline of nearly 10 million in active cases. At present, 27 lakh cases are active in the country.
