The long-awaited music video for ‘Ready For Love’ is finally out, and we have a lot to say! Released on July 29, the BLACKPINK members with their melodious voices and their virtual counterparts on the screen are everything we needed, the avatars of the girls look uncannily similar to their real selves and just as similar if not more. The song has a house-pop instrumental with an EDM chorus displaying the avatars of the girls dancing to it. The MV displays the members going through ups and downs in their dimensions of the world.

Jenni and Rosé sing on the song’s pre-chorus before the song gets into an EDM-tinged banger, “There’s no need to wait now/No need to be afraid,” “Show me the colour of your heart/I really need you in my world/Open your eyes, here I am in front of you.”

Earlier this month Blackpink revealed that they are in the “final stages of recording a new album” and will be heading on a massive world tour. “On top of new music and large-scale projects, Blackpink will also go on the largest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group by the end of the year to expand their rapport with fans worldwide,” read a press release by their management company YG Entertainment.

BLACKPINK is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. The girl group debuted in August 2016 with their single album ‘Square One’, which featured ‘Whistle’ and ‘Boombayah’.
