Munger: A painful accident has occurred in Munger district of Bihar today i.e. on Saturday morning. A woman and her six-month-old son have died tragically in a horrific blast in a house here early today. Superintendent of Police Lipi Singh has informed the media about the incident that the blast took place in the house of Dashrath Sah near Bariarpur Bazar Bridge at 3 am.
Sah's 30-year-old daughter Roma Kumari and her son died in the incident. Police said the explosion was so severe that six adjacent houses were also damaged. Singh further stated that no injuries were reported in the incident. He said that it is difficult to say anything about the cause of the explosion as the investigation of the case is still going on, only after the report comes out, something can be said.
Along with this, he said that the Schwann squad and the forensic team have been called to collect samples from the spot. After the incident, angry villagers blocked the Bhagalpur-Munger road and demanded compensation to the family of the deceased. The administration officials assured to consider their demand after which angry people vacated the road.
