Mother Teresa also known as Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, MC, was an Albanian Roman Catholic nun and missionary.
Prayers were organized across Missionaries of Charities centres to mark the day. Nuns attended prayer ceremonies at Mother House, the global headquarters of the Catholic Missionaries of Charity order, in Kolkata.
