There are many mysteries in the world that have been unsolved for centuries. Scientists are also surprised by the search. Such is Antarctica a continent that is completely surrounded by ice. The temperature here is always in minus. While Antarctica has many ice glaciers, there is also a mysterious glacier that draws red water called blood fall. People had misinformation about it at first, but everyone was surprised when the information came out. Let's know.

That's why blood falls were said

Its name is Taylor Glacier. Taylor Glacier is located on the snow-covered surface in West Lake Bonney in McMurdo dry valleys of Victoria Land in East Antarctica. These glaciers are very unique glaciers. The glacier is also known as blood fall due to red dishwater. Surprisingly, it has been a mystery for the past 106 years. But now scientists have opened up the secret behind red water emanating from the glacier.

Jessica Bargaley, a former graduate student of Colorado College of America, discovered the cause of the glacier being red water by glacier scientist Erin Petit and her researcher's team at the University of Alaska. He also used radio Echo sounding radars for this research. He said that these red water is actually falling from a giant pond.

Researchers believe that the water releases heat as it freezes. This heat heats up the ice all around. These chemical reactions are taking place due to this process. That is why red water is coming out of the glacier. This research was proven in 2017.
