Bloody clashes between TDP, YSR Congress workers across Andhra

Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress Party workers have clashed with each other in various places of Andhra Pradesh. Eluru TDP MLA Badeti Bujji allegedly led an attack on YSRCP party workers in West Godavari district's Sanivarapupeta. Tdp minister Akhila Priya Bhuma’s husband Bhargav and sister Mounika were injured in the violent clash. Two women were reportedly hurt and polling equipment was destroyed in Srinivasapuram village in Guntur's Gurazala mandal in one such case of violence.

In another scuffle in Gudemcheruvu village in Jammalamadugu in Kadapa district, a YSRCP worker was injured. In a stone-pelting incident between the opposing party workers in Ponnathota of the same mandal, a few people were injured. A similar incident is reported in Mydukur constituency. In a video going viral on social media, a bloodied party worker can be seen asking: “Is it right for an MLA to do this? Is he an MLA or rowdy? Why does he have a gunman? To beat people up? We came here to vote. Four people arrived in a car to hit us.”
