Mumbai: The vaccine shortage crisis in Mumbai is visible every day. Now, realizing the same crisis, 1 lakh 58 thousand doses of vaccine have been stocked last Sunday. As per the information received, the work of delivering vaccine to government and private vaccination centres has been taken up by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Due to this, vaccine will be available in all vaccine centres in Mumbai for three days from today. Amidst all this, the stock of vaccine in the vaccine received by Mumbai is said to be very low.

Due to this, in some centres where vaccine is being given, it has been said to give priority to the second dose takers. In fact, the stock of covicshield is high and therefore, there will be no difficulty in administering the vaccine. Let me tell you that 73 vaccination centres have started functioning in 59 vaccination centres and private hospitals. A total of 132 vaccination centres are now functioning.

Meanwhile, the vaccination drive is now being accelerated by looking at priority and stock for the second dose takers. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation received 1 lakh 50 thousand stock of covishield vaccine and 8,000 of the vaccine on Sunday. In that case, if we talk about the total stock, it is 1 lakh 58 thousand vaccine stocks. The stock has been brought to the Regional Vaccine Store near Kanjurmarg.
