BMW reveals it's CE 02 concept electric mini-bike

The CE 02 concept electric mini-bike was unveiled by BMW Group, a leading German luxury vehicle manufacturer.

The CE 02 boasts an 11kW belt-drive motor, according to The Verge, which may enable the bike reach a peak speed of approximately 90 kilometres per hour (about 56 miles per hour). The battery capacity isn't revealed, but BMW claims the CE 02 can travel 90 kilometres on a single charge.

The car has a modern appearance and an LED headlamp as well as an LCD instrument dashboard. The bike has 15-inch wheels and weighs 120 kg. The BMW CE 02 is a concept electric scooter that has yet to be confirmed as a manufacturing vehicle. The iX xDrive50, the production version of the company's iNext concept electric car, was previously unveiled in the United States.
