The BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe was introduced in Malaysia only last week and is now being launched in India on 8 May. It will be the flagship model and it can be launched in only one fully loaded specifications in India. The estimated price of this 5-meter long 4-door coupe can be kept at around 1.4 crore rupees (ex-showroom). The company will launch it through a digital platform.

The BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe will get a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder turbocharged engine, which will be available in the 840i M Sport trim. This engine will generate a maximum power of 335 horsepower and torque of 500 Nm. The engine will be equipped with an 8-speed steptronic sport automatic transmission and it will supply power to the rear axle. The 8 Series Gran Coupe takes 5.2 seconds to catch the speed of 0 to 100 kmph and its top speed is 250 kmph.
