Patna: The Bihar Board Matriculation (Class 10th) board examination held on February 17 has been canceled by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). It has been decided to cancel the examination held at 25 examination centers in Motihari. This decision has been taken after allegations were being made that the Class 10 Maths question paper was leaked. The board has now postponed the mathematics paper and announced the new exam date.

It has been decided by the same board that all the students who appeared for class 10 maths examination in 25 centers in Motihari district will now have to appear again for the examination. The re-examination will be held on March 24 from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm. The board will not issue any new admit card for the same. Students have to appear for the exam with their first admit card.

Many students had alleged that the question paper of class 10 maths exam was leaked and circulated on several social media platforms, days before the examination was held on February 17, 2022. The board has also said in an official notice that students who do not appear for the re-examination on March 24, will be treated as absent, even if they have appeared for the examination on February 17.
