Visakhapatnam: A major accident has occurred in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. A boat has overturned in East Godavari's Devipatan with more than 50 people on board. These people are being told as tourists. Relief and rescue teams are working at the scene. After the accident, 24 people have been taken out safely. Also, the search for the missing people continues.

However, it is not yet known how many people have died due to drowning in the water. Giving information, a person who was taken out safely said that around 60 people were sitting in the boat. Initially, it is believed that this accident happened due to negligence. No official information has been given regarding the accident yet. People are also questioning the administration regarding the accident.

According to media reports, some other boats were also operating at the time of the accident. As soon as the accident happened, the sailors of the nearby boats came forward to help. He took out the people safely by drowning in water. Shortly thereafter, the rescue team was informed about the accident. The rescue team is still engaged in relief work on the spot.
