Coimbatore, Today the body of 17-year-old boy recovered after two days, who fell into a 70-feet deep well here and drowned, while reportedly taking a selfie on his mobile phone.

According to the police, “boy fell into the well on the forenoon of Monday while he was taking a selfie standing on its edge”.

Despite search by Fire and Rescue services department personnel, the seven member-team got down into the well, armed with oxygen cylinders and also eye-vision camera, around 7 AM and brought up the body around 7.30 AM.

Police said, that the body was sent to the Government Hospital for post-mortem
