Jacqueline Fernandez was scheduled to appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar money laundering case but did not. In fact, she was summoned by the ED to record her statement today, Saturday (October 16). However, the actress did not appear before the ED even today. This is the third time in a row that Jacqueline Fernandez was called by the ED but she did not go. Some sources say Jacqueline Fernandez has cited professional commitment.

She has told the authorities that she will not be able to join the investigation at this time. According to a report in a well-known website, she has now been asked to appear in Delhi on Monday. Let us tell you all that Jacqueline Fernandez did not arrive last Friday despite ED summons in the case. She had earlier appeared before the ED once in August and recorded her statement under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The investigating agency is said to be facing Chandrashekhar and his actress wife Leena Maria Paul.

What is the matter- The case dates from August when the ED raided Chandrashekhar's premises and a bungalow in Chennai, 82.5 lakh cash and dozens of luxury cars were seized. In fact, The Delhi Police is investigating Chandrashekhar for cheating, extortion, alleged criminal conspiracy worth Rs 200 crore.
