Bollywood actress Bhagyashree unveils the mascot of 1090

On the occasion of "International Internet Day", public awareness program related to internet/cyber security of women by ‘Women and Child Security Organisation’ (1090),  under "Mission Shakti-Phase 3.0" campaign run by UP Government.

Lucknow : Today on the occasion of "International Internet Day", under "Mission Shakti-Phase 3.0" Women and Child Security Organisation (1090) with the aim of creating awareness on Internet and Cyber Safety in the context of women's safety. A program was organized in the Women and Child Security Organization (1090) Lucknow auditorium. The program was attended by famous Bollywood actress Bhagyashree as the chief guest.

The program was inaugurated by Smt. Neera Rawat (IPS), Additional Director General of Police, Women and Child Security Organization and explained various aspects of role of internet in women safety through presentation of dashboard. Giving information about the public awareness campaign, the role of 1090 in this area was highlighted.

In this program, State Radio Officer Shri Raghavendra Dwivedi made a power point presentation on "Prevention of Women's Crime" and a multilingual short film related to 1090, based on the working of 1090, technical upgradation and cyber security prepared by the team of 1090. A Nukkad Natak play was presented.

In the program, the special guest Shri Ramkumar, Additional Director General of Police, Cyber Crime, Uttar Pradesh gave information about safe internet use and the steps being taken by the Uttar Pradesh Police in this direction. Shri Triveni Singh, Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime, Uttar Pradesh was apprised about the security dimensions to be adopted on the cyber platform through interaction with the gathering.

The new mascot was unveiled by the chief guest famous Bollywood actress Bhagyashree to connect more and more women of the state since 1090. The Chief Guest praised the efforts being made by the Uttar Pradesh Police in the direction of women's safety and empowerment and the working of 1090, and it was said that through today's program, the young generation should be creatively engaged in technology towards safe internet practices.

Apart from this, welcome address by Shri Ravi Shankar Chhabi, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Women and Child Protection Organization (1090), vote of thanks by Additional Superintendent of Police, Shri Virendra Kumar and Additional Superintendent of Police, Smt. Niti Dwivedi performed the responsibility of conducting the stage. The program was attended by more than 100 people including media brothers, students/girls from IT College, Millennium School, teachers and officers/employees of Women and Child Protection Organization, UP.
