From the time’s when makeup artist wasn't a boom this make-up artist did an extraordinary work to prove herself in this industry. The story of Divya sonar, a make-up artist with absolutely no background, a small town ambitious girl started from nothing to whatever she is today.

Q.How i started my professiona in this  industry

A. I would love to call it my growth journey rather than just a journey..I come from a small town, a place where no one even knew about what does it mean to be a makeup artist.I was an average student but this artistic insight was there in me and which did helped me.As I said I had no guru, no direction but a strong will to do it.When all of my friends were busy doing engineering, BSc and what not I decided to go on this path of course there was criticism in initial days but with time people started to motivate me..

The best thing about this field is you just can't say I have learned enough you have to keep learning because FASHION ISN'T A CONSTANT, the trend is what decides your true worth also I found my self Fortunate enough to get a chance to work with so many celebrities, models, beautiful brides, etc Talking about challenges yes it was hard to start at first with no experience but when this thing got into my skin what I know is whenever there's an opportunity given to me I want to give my best for the person and creat magic. This may sound I am exaggerating but this my life from last 6-7 yrs and I am proud of what I have become and still look forward to be a better version of myself

Q. Is it difficult now that the world is going through a pandemic? How has it affected the Make-up Industry?

A. There's probably no industry that hasn't faced the wrath of COVID-19. Businesses have been forced to shut due to lack of market. One among the many industries is that of makeup.I have work definitely been hard-hit. Business has been down and shut for over 5 months now. Weddings have been postponed indefinitely. Most of her bridal clients have promised to revert to them with new dates only by mid-sep. And even this doesn’t feel guaranteed, owing to how things are these days!

I strongly focuses on how drastically work ethic would need to be changed. The hygiene game has to be stronger than ever. Clients have to be very observant about the precautions their beauticians and makeup artists would take. One has to learn new methods of doing makeup on your clients. For example, all products would need to be scooped out and used separately in sanitized plates. There's an obvious fear in people, and it is going to take a while before that goes away. Freelancers, salon owners have been impacted in various ways. Here's to hoping everyone comes stronger out of all this!

Q .Lastly, any tips for the aspiring Make-up Artists out there?

A. Tips-The best tip I could give to new make up artist is do follow your heart. There might be a time when you ll feel things are not working (beleive m bee I have been through that phase) but don't give up. Keep updating yourself with market expectations along with your authenticity.Keep learning, make contacts, seek for guidance and if nothing is working.. You have got the best option- Yourself

Q. Talking about your passion to create & transform, how would you describe your ability to do it?

A. My passion has always been in artistic things wether decorating my house, gardening, I always knew that's gonna be my thing for sure Talking about transforming well I must say I have transformed a lot from a shy, introvert to an independent woman. I have been bold enough to take new challenges. This transformation has made me a better version. The most important of all is I had faith in my self. With changing make up styles I accepted the challenge and molded my self accordingly.
