Kochi: A bomb hurling at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office in Kannur, Kerala has come to light. An extensive police force has been deployed outside the RSS office after the incident. With this, the police have started investigating the case. According to the police, a bomb was hurled at the RSS office building in Payyanur, Kannur at 1.30 pm on Monday night. Office windows were broken in the attack. However, no one was injured in this attack.
In February this year, a Kerala police officer was fired from his job for allegedly passing on information about Sangh activists to the radical Islamic organisation Popular Front of India (PFI). He was briefing the Sangh workers to the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), the political wing of the PFI. The accused, Anas PK, was posted at the Karimnur police station. According to the intelligence report, Anas PK had provided the personal information of about 200 RSS and BJP workers present in the police database to the SDPI.
Earlier on November 15, 2021, an RSS worker was stabbed to death in Palakkad, Kerala. The deceased was identified as Sanjeet (27). Several stab wounds were found on the body of the deceased. The BJP had accused the SDPI of murder. The RSS worker was attacked while he was going somewhere with his wife.
