Bomb threat:In Air India and Royal Nepal Airlines

On Thursday,  At the Indira Gandhi International Airport, two flights obligated for Nepal,Kathmandu and Bhubaneshwar, Odisha were grounded shortly before taking off when security agencies were alerted of a bomb threat.

Officials said,the passenger aboard the aircraft –Air India(Delhi to Bhubanesar) and Royal Nepal Airlines(Delhi to Kathmandu) were immediately offloaded and the planes were taken to an isolated gulf where they were checked for bombs.

Abhishek Singh an officer from CBI  said, “there is a time bomb in the Nepal bound flight, some movement has happened at the terminal area to hit the AI flight. Security agencies were alerted following which the Delhi Police quickly swung into action. "

A caller identifying himself as Abhishek Singh from the CBI made the call," said Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Deputy Commissioner of Police (IGIA).

Gupta added, "Singh claimed there was a bomb on both the flights today (on Thursday) and that he had got this information from the Jammu and Kashmir police,"
