Bollywood film actress Shilpa Shetty's husband and noted businessman Raj Kundra was arrested by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police on July 19 for making obscene videos. Raj Kundra is currently in judicial custody in the case. Now Raj Kundra has got a big relief. The Bombay High Court has granted Raj interim protection from arrest in the case till August 25. However, he will not be able to come out of jail.

Let me tell you that Raj Kundra has got this interim protection in a case of November 2020. The Mumbai Sessions Court had canceled interim bail in the case after which he approached the High Court seeking relief from arrest. Raj Kundra's advocate Prashant Patil has said in the court that the person who was called a criminal along with Raj in the case is already out on bail. He further said that the punishment for the charges against Raj is less than 7 years due to which he should be granted bail.

In the Raj Kundra case, Justice Sandeep Shinde granted interim bail to Raj Kundra till August 25. Because the next hearing in the case is scheduled for August 25. Raj had said that he had invested in the company but left the company in December after FIR was registered on pornography sites. Raj's advocate Prashant said in the petition that no FIR was initially registered against the businessman.
