Pune: A 90 homemade bomb was detonated at the Forest Department's office in the city's pound area at the dawn of Wednesday. The office was badly damaged. The sound of the blast was heard several kilometres away. However, there was no one in the office due to the morning time and the accident was averted. A few days ago, the forest department recovered these bombs from the jungles of the pound. It was kept in a forest department room.

According to the forest department officials, these bombs are used to kill prey wild animals. It had recovered from the Tammalhani wildlife century a few days ago. At the moment, the real reason for the blast was not revealed. The heat is being described as one of the reasons. The blast has frightened residents nearby.

With this, the Inspector of Pune Rural police says the blast happened around 4 am. The burst of 90 bombs simultaneously caused a high intensity and damaged the entire office. The rods and stones were used to make it. The investigation of the case is continuing.
