Sridevi’s final journey came to an end after her mortal remains were brought to the Vile Parle Seva Samaaj Crematorium for the last rites. Boney Kapoor has torched the pyre and the world finally bids adieu to Sridevi.
To bid adieu to the late actor, huge crowd of fans were present throughout the journey from Celebration Sports club to the crematorium in Vile Parle. Soon after her mortal remains were brought to the crematorium in a truck, celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Prasoon Joshi, Rajiv Kapoor, and Randhir Kapoor reached the venue while other famous personalities are still arriving at the crematorium.
Sridevi’s mortal remains were brought in a truck by husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Jahnvi Kapoor. The route had heavy police deployment to control the crowd gathered to pay last respects to the legendary actor who died on Saturday in Dubai.
Sridevi was accorded state honour funeral for her contribution in the field of cinema by Maharashtra government. She was draped in tricolor by Mumbai police officials earlier when her mortal remains were kept at Celebration sports club for fans to pay their last respects.
