Bollywood filmmaker Bonnie Kapoor is in trouble. Three persons, including Bonnie Kapoor, are said to be accused at FIR at Pratap Nagar police station in Jaipur. Praveen Shyam Sethi, a resident of Ramnagaria in Jagatpura, has registered a case against the trio in the police and has alleged that Bonnie Kapoor has defrauded crores of rupees on the pretext of having a celebrity cricket league.

According to media reports, complainant Praveen Shyam Sethi and his friend had invested Rs 67 lakh in the Celebrity Cricket League. Though the Celebrity Cricket League was not organised, SHO Sanjay Sharma of Pratap Nagar police station says the total amount of fraud in the FIR is Rs 2.5 crore.

"I met The Celebrity Cricket League Director Pawan Jangid in 2018 and then claimed that the Celebrity Cricket League would be held in Jaipur. He was in touch with several Bollywood actors and said that Bonnie Kapoor and Mustafa Raj are partners. Pawan Jangid further promised that my investment from this league would be doubled. Pawan took me to Mumbai and met Mustafa Raj."

My friend invested 32 lakh. Bonnie Kapoor came to Jaipur in October 2018 and announced the holding of the Cricket League in December at a press conference. Although that didn't happen. He further says that the league was scheduled to be held in Delhi. But nothing like that happened here. Further, when Praveen asked for the money back, he refused. At present, the police are investigating the whole matter.
