New Delhi: The second match of the Border-Gavaskar Test series against Australia is starting today (February 17). This match will start at 9:30 am at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. India defeated Australia by an innings and 132 runs in the first match of the series. Team India will go to the field with the intention of taking an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series by winning this second match. This ground in Delhi has been very bad for the Australian team. Here the Kangaroo team has so far played 7 Tests against Team India, out of which they have won only one match.
Somewhere this disappointing record is still haunting the Australian team. Now the Kangaroo team will enter the field with the intention of breaking this record and winning Delhi. However, for the Kangaroo team to do this will be no less than a tough challenge. The Kangaroo team won the only Test match here in November 1969. After 10 years, there will be a Test match between Team India and Australia on this ground in Delhi. Earlier the match was played on March 2013. Team India ended that test match in 3 days and gave a big defeat to Australia by 6 wickets. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first.
