Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte starrer Pad Man has recived rave review from the audience in India. It earned decent collection india and  now its has impressed the Japanse audience too. The R. Balki continued its dominance in its sixth week and currently stands with the total collections of Rs 4.49 crore at the Japan box office.

Sharing the collection of film at Japan box- office, notable film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh worte,” #PadMan joins the list of successful #Indian films in #Japan... Currently running in Week 6 [18 locations]...Fri ¥ 386,400, Sat ¥ 926,100, Sun ¥ 1,282,200, Total till 13 Jan 2019: ¥ 68,746,000 [₹ 4.49 cr].

Pad Man is based on the life of Tamil Nadu-based social activist, Arunachalam Muruganantham who finds a way to make cheap, affordable sanitary napkins for the women in his village. Film features Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in key roles.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Kesari which is based on the Battle of Saragarhi that took place between the Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army and the Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen in 1897. It is directed by Anurag Singh.
