Shelly Chopra Dhar directorial Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has finally hit the theatres and has opened to a good response. Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla starrer ELKDTAL opened to a decent Rs 3.30 crores at the box office on day 1, and has witnessed an upward trend on day 2. The movie has garnered Rs 4.65 crore (approx) on day 2 making the two day collections stand round Rs 7.95 crore.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the box- office collection of the film. He wrote, “#EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga shows an upward trend [at metros specifically], but Day 2 growth should’ve been more since Day 1 was low... Growth on Day 2 [vis-à-vis Day 1]: 40.91%... Day 3 + weekdays crucial... Fri 3.30 cr, Sat 4.65 cr. Total: ₹ 7.95 cr. India biz.”

This is the fist time Father-daughter duo, Anil and sonam have come together for the first time onscreen and their camaraderie is being loved by everyone. The film is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra under the banner of Vinod Chopra Films and distributed by Fox Star Studios.
