Rohit Shetty directed Mass entertainer Simmba got a brilliant start and doing well at the box office. Apart from breaking several records at the domestic market, the commercial masala entertainer has set new benchmarks in the international circuits as well. Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba is unstoppable at the box office. It raked in Rs 14.49 crore yesterday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 139.03 crore.
Film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh shared the overseas collection of the film via his Twitter account. His Tweet reads, “#Simmba is a SMASH HIT... Continues to collect in double digits, even after New Year celebrations have ended... This one is not slowing down soon... Fri 20.72 cr, Sat 23.33 cr, Sun 31.06 cr, Mon 21.24 cr, Tue 28.19 cr, Wed 14.49 cr. Total: ₹ 139.03 cr. India biz.” Since the film is rock-steady on the weekdays, it is expected that the film to enter the Rs 200 crore club in the domestic market.
Simmba has become the eighth consecutive Rs 100 crore film of director Rohit Shetty after Golmaal 3, Bol Bachchan, Singham, Dilwale, Golmaal Again, Chennai Express and Singham Returns.
