Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba is doing a phenominal business at box-office. Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer masala cop actioner raked in Rs 6.16 crore yesterday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 196.80 crore. Looking at the response of the audience it is expected that It will enter the Rs 200 crore club today and will become Ranveer's second film to achieve this feat after Padmaavat.
Film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box-office collection of the film. The Tweet reads, “#Simmba inches closer to ₹ 200 cr... Will be the third film  to breach ₹ 200 cr mark [Nett BOC], after #Sanju and #Padmaavat... [Week 2] Fri 9.02 cr, Sat 13.32 cr, Sun 17.49 cr, Mon 6.16 cr. Total: ₹ 196.80 cr. India biz.
Simmba got the good response from the day 1 only and it managed to do good business in Week 2 and week 3.
Besides lead pair, film also stars Siddharth Jadhav, Sonu Sood, Vaidehi Parshurami and Ashutosh Rana in key roles. Simmba has become the eighth consecutive Rs 100 crore film of director Rohit Shetty after Golmaal 3, Bol Bachchan, Singham, Dilwale, Golmaal Again, Chennai Express and Singham Returns. After Simmba Ranveer Singh will be seen in Gully boy opposite to Alia Bhatt.
