ndia's box office has witnessed a remarkable year with notable releases, including Shah Rukh Khan delivering two consecutive Rs. 1,000 crore hits. Even small-budget films have achieved unprecedented success, rewriting records along the way.

Here are the latest box office figures for October 5 in India, according to the industry tracker Sacnilk.

Jawan:
Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" continues to maintain its momentum at the box office. According to India Today, the film has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Indian movie to gross $16 million in the Middle East.

Although "Jawan" has seen a slight decline in collections domestically, it still outperforms its competitors. On its 29th day, the film, directed by Atlee, earned Rs. 1.85 crore across all languages.

Chandramukhi 2:
Kangana Ranaut's comeback in the Kannada film "Chandramukhi 2" has garnered praise from both critics and audiences alike.

On its 8th day in theaters, the film raked in Rs. 1.60 crore in collections across all languages.

Fukrey 3:
"Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat, and Richa Chadha starrer "Fukrey 3," released on September 28, has also been performing well at the box office. On its 8th day, the film accumulated Rs. 3.25 crore.

After a week in theaters, "Fukrey 3" has crossed the Rs. 66.15 crore mark and is expected to reach the coveted Rs. 100 crore milestone soon.

The Vaccine War:
Vivek Agnihotri's "The Vaccine War" faced tough competition at the box office due to the simultaneous releases of "Jawan" and "Fukrey 3."

On its 8th day in theaters, "The Vaccine War" managed to earn Rs. 0.47 crore. The film's total collection now stands at Rs. 8.59 crore. It received recognition from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for celebrating Indian scientists, which could lead to increased footfall in cinemas.

Kannur Squad:
Mammootty's "Kannur Squad" grossed Rs. 1.75 crore on its 8th day at the box office. The film's total collection now stands at Rs. 22.75 crore.

Skanda:
The Telugu film "Skanda," featuring Ram Pothineni, has been performing well since its release. On its 8th day, the film earned Rs. 1.25 crore in collections across all languages.

Iraivan:
Unfortunately, the Tamil-language psychological action thriller "Iraivan," starring Nayanthara, failed to leave a significant mark at the box office. The film concluded its run with earnings of Rs. 10.86 crore in 7 days.
