Kangana Ranaut's starrerManikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi  is doing a decent business at the box-office. Despite the stiff competition from Uri and Thackeray,The historical period drama which started on an average note after picked up tremendously due to positive word of mouth.  It has earned total of Rs 42.55 crore in its opening weekend and it's been growing ever since.

Noted trade critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and  shared the box-office collection of the film. He wrote, "#Manikarnika shows solid trending on weekdays... ₹ 60 cr [+/-] total [Week 1] is excellent... #RepublicDay holiday contributed majorly... Fri 8.75 cr, Sat 18.10 cr, Sun 15.70 cr, Mon 5.10 cr, Tue 4.75 cr, Wed 4.50 cr. Total: ₹ 56.90 cr. India biz. #Hindi #Tamil #Telugu.” Besides, domestic circuit, it has also done superb business at the overseas box office. So far, the historical drama has grossed Rs 65.50 (net Rs 52.40 crore) in India and Rs 14.24 crore in the international circuits. It currently stands at the grand total of Rs 79.74 crore and will soon enter the Rs 100 crore club at the global market.

The film is directed by Kangana Ranaut and Krish, and also features Jisshu Sengupta, Atul Kulkarni, Danny Danzongpa, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi and Suresh Oberoi in key roles.
