New Delhi: In New Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar a boy shot his girlfriend and later committed suicide by shooting himself dead. The incident was reported around 8 p.m. near the Coronation Park.
The police as per the source revealed that the incident occurred when the girl was on a scooter and the boy was riding a bike. The duo got involved in a fight after which the boy first took a shot at the girl and later, turned the gun on himself.
The boy died on the spot while the girl was immediately admitted to a nearby local hospital, where her condition is reported critical.
The police have also recovered a suicide note from the boy, where they suspect that the deceased had an affair with the injured girl.
