PATNA: On Monday, the police formed a 12-member team to examine the preliminary paper leak issue at the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC).

Sushil Kumar, Superintendent of Police of the Economic Offence Wing (EOW), will lead the squad. The team's principal goal is to track down the source of the paper's leak.  The investigation team first went to the Patna office of the BPSC and interrogated some of the officers. So far, no FIR has been filed in this case by the team.

On Sunday, the BPSC preliminary examination took place, and students in Arrah town reported a paper leak. The candidates said that the exam paper was available 15 minutes before the start. The question papers were supplied to select students 15 minutes before the examination in separate rooms at Veer Kunwar Singh University, the source said. Other students joined in the protests that followed.

The investigation team is currently attempting to determine where the question paper was leaked, which then went viral on WhatsApp groups. In 120 minutes, you must answer 150 questions on the BPSC preliminary examination. After all 150 questions were found to match the papers released on social media, the BPSC decided to cancel the exam.

Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, was equally enraged by the way the question paper was leaked in his state. He has ordered an investigation by the state police. S.K. Singhal, the Director-General of Police (DGP) of Bihar, chaired a high-level meeting of officials on Sunday and asked them to deliver speedy results.
