The Bihar Public Service Commission has postponed two upcoming exams. The examination for recruitment has been forwarded further due to a surge in corona cases. Bihar Judicial Services examination 2021 and the BPSC Project Manager Prelims exam 2021 have been delayed.

BJS examination earlier was to be held from April 8 to 13 and BPSC Project Manager 2021 Prelims was scheduled to be held on April 11. The Bihar Public Service Commission conducts the Bihar Judicial Service Exam every year for the recruitment of civil judges. BPSC Judicial Service recruitment is conducted in three phases – Prelims, Mains and Interview. Now, in order to postpone the exam, candidates have tweeted to officials about the pressure they are going through.

The students have taken the Twitter writing about the issues because of delay of exams to governor Phagu Chauhan, chief minister Nitish Kumar, health minister Mangal Pandey, Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) chairman R K Mahajan, HRD principal secretary Sanjay Kumar and other officials. Patna is a major hotspot and is recording daily cases above 1000 in total. The capital city reported the highest number- 372 positive cases. Total active cases in Bihar have shot up to 3,560, according to official data
