In the lockdown, the government had decided to re-air a superhit serial like Ramayana on Doordarshan. Apart from Ramayana, the serial Mahabharata has also been re-broadcasted on many channels. BR Chopra's serial Mahabharata is being telecast again on many private channels. Now the characters associated with them are also in the discussion. Sumit Raghavan played Sudama's childhood character in BR Chopra's serial Mahabharata. Sumit was very young at that time and he did not even recognize anyone in the industry.
After many years, Sumit Raghavan's acting with Mahabharata is also being praised. Sumit remembers this character in his own words. In a conversation with a media reporter, Sumit Raghavan said, 'When I got this role, I was very young and was excited for this role like other children. That's when I was a bit thin too, maybe that's why I got this role too. We had shot for 3 to 4 days and I remember that the part of Sandipani Ashram was shot in Film City itself. I did not realize that I was going to be a part of history."
Sumit Raghavan said, 'I remember that I saw Mukesh Khanna and Nitish Bhardwaj on the set. Both of them were at the peak of their careers at that time and I was stunned to see them." Sumit Raghavan said, "After the telecast of the show people started asking me many questions on social media. People tagged me by taking a screenshot of the episode. People were asking whether it was me. I never knew that I was going to be a part of this epic show. I am happy that I worked with such brilliant actors and became a part of a classic like Mahabharata."
