There is bad news for the fans of “Brave New World. According to report, The NBC Universal-backed streaming platform peacock has cancelled the show after one season.  According to the source, the show's studio arm, Universal Cable Productions, is in the process of shopping the series to find an international window for the show.

In a statement late Wednesday, "There will not be season two of Brave New World on Peacock." The Sci-fi drama “Brave New World” was part of Peacock’s original rollout and was the streamer’s only scripted series at the time of its launch in July. The Alden Ehrenreich and Demi Moore starrer series was originally developed for USA Network and held back as a high-profile series to help launch streamer Peacock, which remains a top priority for NBCUni.

This series is based on Huxley’s dystopian novel, Brave New World imagines a utopian society that has achieved peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history itself. The series debuted all nine episodes in July. Critics panned the show. However, audiences viewed it favourably.
