Corona is wreaking havoc all around the world. Brazil has the world's second-highest corona death toll, second only to the United States, and the third-largest outbreak, after the United States and India. The country is experiencing a second wave of corona. Brazil reported on Saturday 1,279 corona deaths in the past 24 hours, taking its death toll to 223,945.

The nation reported 58,462 new corona cases, bringing its nationwide tally to 9,176,975. The state of Sao Paulo is the hardest hit, with 1,773,024 cases and 52,954 deaths.

Talking about the global Coronavirus cases, the deadly virus rise unabated across the globe, with nearly 102.6 million infected by the deadly contagion. While 74,299,138 have recovered, 2,214,227 have died so far. The US remains the worst-hit country with 26,500,252, followed by India, Brazil, Russia and the United Kingdom. Talking about India, the nation witnessed 12,516 fresh cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19). The total number of active cases in the country has fallen to 171,968, while the caseload tally stands at 10,733,487.
