Let me tell all of you that now RBI has allowed banks to increase the interchange fee per transaction from Rs.15 to Rs.17 for financial transactions and Rs.5 to Rs.6 for non-financial transactions in all centres.

At the same time, it is being said that customers will remain eligible for 5 free transactions (including financial and non-financial transactions) every month from their own bank ATMs. In addition, he will also be able to make 3 free transactions from other bank ATMs in Metro City and 5 free transactions at non-metro centres.
