Faridabad: A major train accident happened at Old Faridabad railway station in Haryana. Here a goods train broke the wall and reached the parking area, causing damage to some vehicles. There has been a stampede there due to the breaking of the wall of the goods train. During this, the life of a railway employee was narrowly saved.

Station Superintendent AK Goyal has informed that this incident happened on Monday evening and a railway employee standing behind the train miraculously survived. A railway official said that the incident happened when a goods train laden with cement sacks reached Old Faridabad station from Gangapur and the train was going backwards to unload the goods.

The station master has named the engine driver of the 42-coach train as Bijendra Meena and the 'Railway Pointman' as Jai Singh. Who narrowly escaped in this incident. However, railway officials are calling this incident a human error. Station Superintendent AK Goyal said that an inquiry has been ordered into the incident.
