The world's leading company Bridgestone is partnering with Microsoft to develop the world's first monitoring system to address tire damage problems in real-time. These are very serious problems, due to which about 30% contribution in all car accidents is considered to be technology failure.

There are four types of problems in tires

Lack of proper pressure, wear uneven shape and finally damage from road obstructions, pits or objects. Fortunately, most of these problems have already been solved reliably. In most parts of the world, it has been made mandatory to install TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) in all cars built after 2012, which relieves motorists from problems with low pressure in tires. Regular servicing and timely tire replacement will prevent wear and tear.

The monitoring system MCVP provides a consistent, robust and compatible, cloud-connected, horizontal platform in every digital synergy, on top of which customer-facing solutions can be built. Such solutions include in-vehicle infotainment, advanced navigation, autonomous driving, telematics, and prediction services, as well as over-the-air updates (OTAs). This includes the global availability and comprehensiveness of the enterprise level that comes with Microsoft Edge. MCVP will provide Bridgestone with a digital infrastructure that will accelerate delivery of its connected mobility solutions and provide access to the countless capabilities of Microsoft Azure Cloud, AI and IoT. All the same, in turn, working with Bridgestone helps Microsoft strengthen its ecosystem supporting its partners and gives MCVP customers the ability to integrate these partners' solutions with their own offerings.
